How To Change Armor in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is out, and the scope of content in the game is far more than anybody could have expected. Something the game has far more of than any other Borderlands entry is customization; From the clothes on your back to your character’s face and voice, Wonderlands gives you the freedom to create your character as you see fit. If you’re looking to customize your armor in Wonderlands, this guide has got you covered.

Changing Armor In Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands

There are two main ways to change your armor in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and they’re pretty straightforward. The first method is with the Quick Change Station, which allows you to customize the patterns and colors of your armor at will. The other way is physically changing your armor, which unfortunately is less flexible.

The Quick Change Station can be found in Brighthoof, nearby Queen Butt Stallion’s castle. This functions similarly to the Quick Change Stations in previous Borderlands games, allowing you to change the patterns of your armor and customize the colors as you see fit.

Here, you can also change your banner, which is a brand new form of customization available in Wonderlands.

Unfortunately, if you want to physically change the appearance of your armor beyond just colors and patterns, you’ll have to find procedurally generated loot in the world itself and equip it. The shape of your armor is tied to the piece you are wearing, which can’t be changed.

Thankfully, I’ve yet to run into any bad-looking armor in Wonderlands. Having to physically obtain your character’s style also gives you more incentive to shoot and loot throughout the game, perhaps revisiting previously completed content to get that sick armor drop you missed the first time.

While appearance is important to any RPG player, remember that armor gives you important stats such as boosts to your skills. A piece of armor that greatly benefits your build should not be overlooked lightly just because it doesn’t match your aesthetic, but I understand the temptation; Looking good is half the reason you play.

That’s everything you need to know for changing your appearance in Wonderlands. Leave a comment below if you found this guide helpful, and check out our other Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands Guides.
